Help Others Learn How To Read

Are your favorite books all shelved and unused? Would you like to bring a bit of joy to other kids and students? Send your own books to one of our Bookfeeding Projects of your choice! You can also drop them off at one of our collection points.

Sending or donating your books is a great way to directly empower children through education. This easy and rewarding task can have a profound and lasting impact on our small library communities!

AT THE MOMENT, DUE TO HIGH TRANSPORTATION PRICES, WE DO NOT COLLECT BOOKS AS IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE TO SEND THEM THAN TO BUY THEM LOCALLY. WHEN THE SITUATION CHANGES, WE WILL INFORM YOU HERE AND ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA.

Send The Books Directly To A Library

You can still send the books directly to the library and help us to reduce shipping costs and to increase the libraries choice of books. Just follow the instructions below.

Follow These Steps:

Or Just Go BIG!

Do you want to do something big? Why not create your own book collection point? Spread the word among your family and friends, your colleagues or schoolmates! Many will surely have some great books to donate! You can place some boxes in your local libraries and kindergartens and explain what the project is about. Previously for example, we had schools participating in a book collection as part of their geography class about Africa. So, you can be creative when collecting books. And we can always add your location to our collection points map. This way more people can find out about it and donate books or money for the postage!

Once everything is set up, contact a shipment company in your area. Companies that are already shipping something to Africa will often have some more space for books in their container. You can then ship the books for free or at a favourable price. In case you cannot find anybody willing to help, get an estimate on the price and amount of books and organize a fundraiser! The price for shipping a pallet or two is not significantly higher than sending just a few boxes. Imagine what a big difference you could make!
