Transparency is one of the core values of Bookfeeding Project e.V.. We are committed to making the following ten pieces of information available to the public and keeping them up to date.

1. Name, location, address and year of foundation of our organisation

Bookfeeding Project e.V. is the German section of the international Bookfeeding Project network.

The non-profit association was founded on 25 July 2020 in Frankfurt am Main. The association is based in Frankfurt am Main (Am Kappelgarten 17, 60389 Frankfurt am Main). Carolin von Janowski is Chairwoman of the Board (honorary). An entry was made on 25 March 2021 in the register of associations at the district court of Frankfurt am Main with the VR no. 16809.

2. Constitution, articles of association and objectives of our organisation

Since 2013, Bookfeeding Project has been working to improve access to education by building public libraries. Our international organisation supports more than 20 library projects in around 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Bookfeeding Project e.V. pursues exclusively and directly charitable and non-profit purposes. The organisation's statutes focus on the promotion of education. In particular, the organisation is committed to providing access to education for people of all ages from low-income families in countries of the global South.

The members of the Board of Directors are Alena Machálková, Beatrice Barco, Carolin von Janowski and Andréia Amthor.

There are no permanent employees. All team members work on a voluntary basis.

Bookfeeding Project is not affiliated with third parties under company law. There is no parent company, no subsidiary, no sponsoring organisation, no outsourced business operation and no other form of corporate affiliation.

10. Names of persons whose annual contributions account for more than ten per cent of our total annual income

In 2020, project funds from the Eurhope e.V. association contributed more than ten per cent of total income. More information is published in the annual report.
